Commercial transparency
Affiliate disclosure.
Recommendations should be useful to readers, with any commercial relationship clearly identified.
BalconyHarvest may participate in affiliate programs in the future. If a page contains an affiliate link, the site should clearly identify it. If a reader purchases through such a link, the site may earn a commission at no additional cost to the reader, subject to the applicable program's terms.
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships should not be presented as independent test results or expert endorsements. We do not claim to have tested a seed, planter, or gardening product unless we have actually tested it and documented the process.
Advertising and gifted products
Paid placements, sponsorships, or gifted products—if accepted—should be disclosed clearly near the relevant content. Advertising units should be distinguishable from editorial recommendations.
Program terms
When affiliate links are introduced, this page and any required program-specific notices should identify the relationships that actually apply. External merchants operate their own websites, prices, stock, shipping policies, and returns.
